Additional Information
Sharp sand, also known as grit sand, is a coarse, free-draining sand often used in construction and landscaping projects. Its angular grains help it bind well when compacted, making it suitable for block paving, laying slabs, screeding and mixing with cement to produce strong, durable concrete. Sharp sand can also be used beneath turf to improve drainage and create a sturdy base. Our sharp sand is supplied from one tonne upwards.
Delivery Information
We aim to deliver all orders within two business days. If you have a preferred delivery date, pop it in your delivery instructions at checkout and we'll do our best to make it happen. Deliveries usually run between 7.30am and 4.30pm.
Let us know if you're likely to be on site, or if there's anything else we should be aware of. A few clear instructions go a long way in helping things run smoothly. Orders delivered outside our Norfolk catchment area carry a £40 delivery charge.
Please make sure your site has a minimum clearance of 9.5ft (2.9m) for vehicle access. Keep an eye out for overhead cables, low branches, manhole covers and anything else that might get in the way. We can't take responsibility for damage caused where access is restricted. We're not able to deliver aggregates over surfaces higher than 3ft, such as walls or hedges, so let us know ahead of time if this might apply to your site. Aggregates are delivered loose and without aggregate bags, so we'll need clear instructions on where to drop them.
